Paradise
Av Joy Mendoza
I was sitting there by the sea,
waiting for that breathtaking picturesque of sunrise,
A constant reminder for me,
that this world could be my paradise.
There, the sun waved its good morning with mirth,
Its rays of light began to kiss the earth,
A few moment that'd happened right before my eyes,
Proved that this world is indeed a paradise.
Flowers in bloom and colorful butterflies inhaling their fragrance,
the wind's urging the trees for a sweet dance;
the intimacy between the endless shy and the clouds as pure as a dove,
And the birds flying so high seems so free and wild
like lovers in love.
Every scene was just a sight to behold,
a balm to my aching soul,
Everything gives me hope and peace,
Paradise on earth-it really is.
