Epitome of Nature
Mary Ann Gonzales

Firm and steady trees raised by nature
Bringing the mountains euphoric feature
Stiff shaft standing so proud and cannot be flinched
Trunks flutter like beckoning you to dance in every inch

Clamoring of the leaves made by the clasps of the wind
That's more calming than caterwauls, wanting it dinned
Silhouettes of the trees from the window
With the dim sunset in a mesmerizing glow

Nature was made not to feed our delights
Nor satisfy the needs of our sights
It was made to realize, how wonderful would that be
If we will just flourish it like the expansive sea
